John Shute

Principal

John has been a qualified practitioner since 1977, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a registered company auditor, tax agent and a registered SMSF auditor.

As well as Australia, John has gained international experience in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and recently Asia in the areas of business investigation, restructuring, international tax planning and valuations.

John was managing director of First Capital Finance, a company providing investment finance to International clients.

As a member of the Australian Industry Development Corporation (AIDC), John was jointly responsible for the growth of high technology company providing products to the defence industry both in Australian, Europe and the United States of America. John was responsible for international contract negotiations, bid preparations and contract management review and reporting.

John was contracted to Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) to review and structure the Commercial Radioscopes division. John was responsible for the negotiation of successful tenders of a number of commercial contracts both in Australia and New Zealand.

Summer Zhang

Associate, SMSF Advisor

Summer holds a Master of Accounting degree from Macquarie University; Summer is also a Certified Practicing Accountants, she is also a registered RG146 SMSF Advisor. Summer also holds an undergraduate degree in Mass Media.

Summer is experienced in accounting for small to large business and taxation compliance.

Summer has experienced in a number of accounting software packages including Banklink; MYOB and Quicken.

Summer has international experience in accounting and management roles in China.

Jing Xu

Branch Manager VIC

Jing Xu manages our Victoria Branch and holds an MBA degree majoring in accounting. She is a qualified CPA member, Registered NTAA member, certified Xero advisor and also certified Quickbooks Pro-advisor.

Jing has worked in the area of commercial accounting for six years and in professional practice for three years. Jing is experienced in compliance, accounting and taxation in both the public and private sectors.

Jing has extensive skills in tax planning both for individuals and small business and a sound background in business development, management and business planning.

Maggie Chan

Practice Manager

Maggie holds a Bachelor of Commerce- Professional Accounting from Macquarie University.

Maggie has experience in customer relationships and administration services to clients.

Maggie is experienced in business and corporate services to a range of clients.

Maggie has experience in taxation compliance, accounting systems (i.e. MYOB; Quicken) and other communication softwares.
